COWAN MILL FIRE @ GREAT FALLS, LEWISTON, ME 2006
City of Lewiston, Me. hired Chabot's Construction Company to raze the mill and make safe due to hydro dam power transformer located on the other side of the wall of the smoke stack. This lay down took just 12 hours at a cost of $60,000.00 (stack included).
AVON MILL LEWISTON, ME. 2011 
City of Lewiston, Me. hired Chabot's Construction Company to demolish this mill for a road widening project with M.D.O.T . this building took 10 days to demo and haul off. 

LEWISTON, ME SLIP LINING 1,100 FEET OF 48" ACTIVE SEWER 
CHABOT'S CONSTRUCTION COMPANY DOING A SLIP LINING PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF LEWISTON, ME. WHICH INVOLVED DIGGING 30 FEET IN THE GROUND AND SETTING A 20' x 40" x 20"H TRENCH BOX TO EXPOSE THE TOP OF AN OLD 4 FOOT BRICK PIPE ACTIVE SEWER LINE. THE TOP OF THE BRICK PIPE WAS CUT OPEN FOR 30 FEET TO ALLOW NEW 20 FOOT SECTIONS OF 42" FIBERGLASS HOBUS PIPE TO BE PULLED THRU FROM 3 STREETS OVER FOR A TOTAL LENGTH OF 1,100 FEET. THIS PROJECT WAS FEATURED IN ENR MAGAZINE AND WAS A POSTER CHILD FOR CURRENT SAFETY TRAINING FILMS DUE TO THE EXTREME DIFFICULTY OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS OF HAVING TO SEND A MAN DOWN 800 FEET OF PIPE TO CUT HOLE FOR CONNECTOR PIPES AND HOLES OVER HIS HEAD FOR INLETS UNDER THE BATES MILL AND 8TH DISTRICT COURT HOUSE WHILE THE SEWER IS ACTIVE. PROPER PLANNING PAID OFF AS THIS PROJECT WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. THIS PROJECT TOOK 30 DAYS TO COMPLETE WORKING 96 HRS PER WEEK.
